On this anniversary date of the unspeakable tragedy of 9.11.2001 we are still a country in mourning. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and the country today!
The World Trade Center was conceived in the early 1960’s by the Downtown-Lower Manhattan Development Association to revitalize the seedy “Radio Row,” dominated by electronic stores. Chase Manhattan Bank chairman David Rockefeller, founder of the development association, and his brother, New York governor Nelson Rockefeller, pushed hard for the project, insisting it would benefit the entire city.
They had no idea what the future would hold but the concept was going to be an enormous undertaking. Every time you would even get near the Twin Towers it was easy to get excited. The hustle and bustle of all the businesses thriving making you so proud to be a New Yorker.
Although progress is being made as the memorials and museums are going up you can still rest assured that New York is one of the most awesome places to live. We offer affordable housing, lots of community activities and a bond that only true New Yorkers can share.
I am proud to offer homes in Brooklyn and I know we can find the perfect place for you and your family. Come be a part of our community!
